Integrated provider of comprehensive information and communication services

The Railway Telecommunications Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as ŽT) is the largest internal organizational unit of ŽSR, registered in the Commercial Register of the Slovak Republic,  providing a wide range of services in the areas of informatics and telecommunications with contractually guaranteed quality parameters.

In the provision of services, the ŽT relies on expert know-how, modern technologies, more than 150 years of experience in providing telecommunication services, but especially on its own backed up optical network extending over the entire territory of Slovakia with the connection of peering centers SIX, Sitel and, of course, on foreign partners in all neighbouring countries.

The centralized data warehouses, server farms, service, business and other specialized workplaces of ŽT are regionally deployed throughout Slovakia to be able to meet information and communication needs of even the most demanding customers quickly and efficiently.

The ŽT holds a certificate for the management system according to ISO 9001:2015 / STN EN ISO 9001:2016, granted by EUROCERT for the provision of telecommunication and information services.

The Railway Telecommunications is a member of the Communication Technology Forum (CTF).
