Certification

The competence requirements of a candidate for certification are:

• completion of relevant training in the given method and level, 
• successful passing of the qualification exam,
• required industrial experience,
• adequate physical fitness.

Completion of the relevant training in the given method and level shall be documented by the applicant with a copy of certificate of completion of the course in the range of x hours (according to EN ISO 9712). In order to pass the qualification examination, the applicant must achieve at least 70 % in each part of the examination. The applicant must provide a document in which his employer confirms the required industrial experience in the given method. Finally, the applicant must provide proof of physical fitness not older than one year.

After meeting all the conditions and paying the relevant fee, a certificate (A4) and a certification card, the validity of which is determined according to EN ISO 9712 for a period of 5 years, will be issued to the applicant. At the end of this period, the certification in the given method can be extended for a further period of 5 years. After 10 years (certification + extension) and interest in continuing in the system, a recertification exam is required.
