Centre for Security Risk Assessment (CPBR) 

is established in accordance with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No.402/2013 on the common safety method for risk evaluation and assessment and recognized in accordance with Article 9(1)(b) as a Type C inspection body (as defined in STN EN ISO 17020:2012) for the assessment and evaluation of risks for structural subsystems:

  • infrastructure,
  • rolling stock,
  • energy and  
  • trackside equipment – control - command and signalling.

Performs the function of:

  • Body for independent assessment of the application of the Common Safety Method for Risk Evaluation and Assessment (CSM RA) and appropriateness of the application of the risk management process by the promoter, which the promoter is obliged to apply to substantial modifications to the railway system in an EU Member State,
  • Executor of an independent assessment of the substantial modification based on documentation submitted by the promoter, the result of which is the processing of the “Safety Assessment Report“,
  • Consultant for the application of safety and quality processes during the design and implementation of a significant change.
