V prípade poruchy výťahu, ak zdravotné obmedzenie PRM neumožňuje použitie schodiska, je možné využiť náhradnú prístupovú cestu: z prijímacej budovy cez východ smerom do mesta, vpravo po chodníku vedľa výpravnej budovy, za rohom výpravnej budovy vpravo a do podchodu pre manipulačné vozíky, na konci podchodu vľavo a po rampe na nástupište. Doporučená bezbariérová cesta je graficky znázornená na výveskách pre cestujúcich.
